Four Fashion Trends Ready To Wear Fall/Winter 2023

The womenswear ready to wear Fall/Winter 2023 was full of surprise and mesmerizing runaways that turns to shows that we will never forget! But among everything we can see clearly four fashion trends that pop up for the next fall Winter!

  1. Transparency with Victoria/Thomas and Ann Demeulemeester

Victoria/Thomas

For the first time the perfume house CARON collaborated with a fashion designer brand to create a collection inspired by their 3 iconics fragrances : “Tabac Blond”, “Pour un homme de caron” et Musc Oli. It’s natural that the Victoria and Thomas fall winter 2023 collection is called “Senses”.

We always feel this sci-fi atmosphere inspired by Burton mixed with a cool hip hop vibe ! Here the transparency is declined in skirt, top or in set and add to the tomboy silhouette a delicate side. With the collection “senses” the transparency catches the eyes and stimulates our senses.

Ann Demeulemeester

Like Ann Demeulemeester, Ludovic de Saint Sernin is so personally involved in his creative process, that it becomes cathartic in order to deliver an authentic, powerful and unique first collection. He poetically writes a new page thanks to the leather feather which opened and closed the show. This leather feather was created in collaboration with the fantastic art master Robert Mercier.

Ludovoc de Saint Sernin writes a sensual poem around leather, silk and transparency! Here, transparency is enigmatic, structured, bewitching and omes in long flowing dresses, jumpsuits or jackets.

  1. Colors and volume with Tomo Koizumi

Tomo Koizumi successfully launched his eponymous brand in 2011.

He then presented his first collection in New York in February 2019 and was selected to be part of the BoF500 by Business of Fashion.

“I called the collection Don’t Forget to Bring Your Flowers,” Koizumi said pre-show. “When I go to my friend’s homes, I bring flower bouquets as gifts, and this is my bouquet to the people. With the war and also after Covid I really want to bring joy to people.”

Indeed, bright colors and bold silhouettes are the hallmarks of his collection. There are also silk ribbon corsets that topped ombre satin twisted three-dimensional ruffles.

Tomo Koizumi honors shapes and colors by bringing fantasy and joy to our daily lives! Thank you for bringing us flowers; we love it!

  1. Printed and strong impression with Leonard paris

For fall-winter 2023-24, Georg Lux takes us 24 hours into the life of a LEONARD woman. A woman at the top, hurtling down the slopes of mountains with inaccessible peaks on skis

This winter, our jet-setter is feline and dresses in a white tiger print, in keeping with the snowy landscape. Ready for all situations, the Leonard woman disembarks for après-ski, molded in a hooded jumpsuit enhanced with a paisley straight out of the archives of the claw !

As a modern-day Heidi, she proudly wears lipstick red dungarees in a quilted jersey or wraps herself up in a black woolen cape embroidered with bouquets of folkloric flowers. At dawn, she returns to the slopes, breathtaking, in a coat with princely volumes in monogrammed brocade patterns.

  1. Rounded shoulder with A.W.A.K.E mode

Natalia Alaverdian has developed her unique eye for fashion through a multi-disciplinary career that encompasses styling, art direction and photography before she founded A.W.A.K.E. MODE in 2012.

For her fall winter collection she took her inspiration in the music of Vangelis and the world of Blade Runner, “dark and sad and melancholic, but poetic and romantic.” That’s also the words for describing her collection in which the tailoring always remains under control and accompanied by a round and very pronounced shoulder!
