Our team had the pleasure to discover the summer 2023 collection of Barbara Bui during its press day.
Created in 1987, the house Barbara Bui stands out with a wardrobe that mixes masculine and feminine codes. Leather, Tailoring and precise cuts are the signature of this house which displays a rock style, a free and rebellious spirit.
The Barbara Bui design is timeless with creations made to last over time, and that can be worn indefinitely. The silhouettes are elegant, casual and take their inspiration from great figures of popular rock like Mick and Bianca Jagger for example.
Leather is certainly the designer’s favorite material but for this Summer 2023 collection it’s jersey and silk that predominate to offer us a Barbara Bui woman all in fluidity and sensuality.
The colors are as captivating as the ever-precise cuts of the collection’s jackets, trench coats or suits. We felt the 70’s inspiration in the shoes and in the “flared” cut of the pants. A mix of the era that gives us iconic looks.
Regarding accessories, the handbag with its signature buckle captured our heart. It comes in different colors and will certainly be an essential of the summer of 2023.
