In his new fall winter collection Giambattista Valli, the most romantic couture designer, poured a little bit of everything from the familiars to his work ingredients. We have emblematic for Valli kilometers of tulle, in which mannequins sunk like in clouds of foam; and maxi-Basques and other flounces on mini-skirts, voluminous floor length dresses and over straight, slightly trimmed pants; and so characteristic to the designer delicate floral-embroidery and prints; and even finally returned to the podium the long date Giambattista friend – top model Sasha Pivovarova.
If to name some new ideas it would be: quite convincing draping on evening gowns, tulle tutus with a very low waist and other feather inlays in sometimes unexpected places (such as a the pants on the side below the knee).
Acid colors, prevailing in certain looks, beneficially refresh the overall palette of pastel tones and the classic black.
